Both of these sites are informative with great links. The FPMT is the site of one of my principle teachers Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche, and is of Galugpa tradition. You can get lots of teaching resources and they support alot of great initiatives. One of which is a very large statue of the next Buddha Maitreya {the Buddha of Infinate Love;} It is to be three times the height of the Statue of Liberty, It will also be home to schools, a university, an airport and hospitals. So it is a great initiative amongst many more.
