I loved it...
I loved it! It very dark but also a bit with cabaret and other styles...my personal favourite is Sarah Skinner´s Mata Hari and The Sorceress and the Amazon by Ayshe...
I liked only the first performanceof Shakra...they were like real robots!! And also Neon struck me with her dancing...Overall very good! - The Kikster , posted 06/26/08

Better than the last one
But there were several performances that didn't hold my attention. Several were definitly to rewatch. Although I borrowed this DVD I might purchase it later down the road. - , posted 01/26/08

Liked It!
I happened to like this DVD very much. I enjoyed how this DVD was darker in aspects than the previous one. Also, I'm glad they added Sashi, our Blue Mistress to the format! The girls with the tophats on are called Shakra. - April T. , posted 10/24/07

Gothic Bellydance - Revelations
Lots of disappointments here - only a few performances shine through. The dance form is represented well with Sashi, Ariella and the kooky girls in top hats - loved them!. The rest sadly, really didnt appeal to me. However I do feel this dvd is darker, more gothic than the first and thankfully less "film clip" style performances. Jeniva does a lovelly Turkish Romany piece, but big unhappy frown goes to the snake dancer - Snakes are animals not props or costume accessories honey! No interaction, consideration or empathy is extended to the two snakes at any time - no kudos to you!
There is a nice little sword dance, for the sword freaks out there and Tribal appears to be less dominant here than in the first dvd. Different styles of bellydance seem to have crept in which is great news for lovers of caberet and other styles of Bellydance.
This dvd is worth a look just to see Sashi Ariella and the top hat girls ( I think they are Bellyessence??) - but not really worth the money in my oppinion. - Saahirah Ravyn , posted 10/23/07
