Some call it schoolies for adults, some say it's just a party for revheads... I say their right! Every October for four days it's a non stop action extravaganza of fast cars and flat out fun that is the Gold Coast Indy carnival. Broadbeach to Main Beach lights up during the four days with racing action on the track and events during the day and night off the track. A lot of people don't even come here for the racing they just come for the atmosphere, I don't blame them! It's huge! If your planning on checking it out make your plans well in advance. Accommodation can be hard to find if you leave your run too late and im sure it goes up closer to the event! Transport can be a bit of a hassle due to the roads being used for racetrack! Try to stay somewhere central to Surfers or Main Beach and you cut down on the need for transport.
