Whenever we have out of town guests, we take them here. Right on the water, Annalakshmi Perth is a beautiful location with wonderful food. It's Indian Vegetarian and all the staff are volunteers, but this sure isn't Govinda's. You pay "what your heart tells you" for a buffet meal that includes both North and South Indian food. It's conveniently close to that hideous devils' spawn (the Rosemary's Baby of the Opera House) Perth's "Swan Bells", the bronze swans and other kitsch that you might find amusing if you're visiting our fair city. They also run Temple of Fine Arts, and have affliated Restaurants and cultural centres in other countries such as Singapore, Malaysia and of course India. - kat , posted 04/10/06 |
